During the COVID-19 Safer-At-Home Order and during any part of the off-season, we encourage you to use the training resources in this blog to develop your skills and stay active so you are ready for the next softball season!
Toss the ball up in the air to yourself keeping your body behind the ball so you can practice coming through the ball. Notice that the feet are always moving and the body is low! Get the ball at the lowest point!
These drills are great for working on a variety of in-game scenarios and fundamentals! All you need is a ball and a wall. Use a tennis ball or racquetball so it comes back to you better. ALWAYS catch with your glove hand. You can use your glove as well!
