Sending Messages Using our Mobile App (Team App)

Our new mobile app, Team App, is replacing RainedOut for the 2020 season. This should make it easier for coaches to send messages and reminders to their team. To do so, follow the instructions below.
  1. Follow the instructions on downloading Team App, signing up, adding our app, and adding your team's access group to your account. View our Mobile App help page for these instructions.
  2. Once you join your team's access group, fill out the form below to request to become an admin for your access group(s).
  3. You will receive a push notification via the app once you are upgraded to an admin for your access group(s).
  4. Once you are an admin, you can send out announcements to your team via the "News" tab. These announcements will appear as push notifications to anyone who has downloaded the app and joined your team's access group. For those that do not have the app downloaded, but joined your access group via the website version of the app, they will receive the announcement as an email alert.

We can grant admin access to multiple coaches per team. At least one coach (head or assistant) must have access to their team's access group as all schedule changes and important announcements need to be sent through Team App in addition to any other method you wish to use (calling, texting, Facebook, emails, etc.). By having all teams use at least one common communication method, we can greatly increase the reliability of communication and provide one place for all parents (and the PYS Board) to obtain important information.
