Volunteer Application

All team volunteers (head coaches, assistant coaches, & parent helpers) must complete all of the following:

Complete our Volunteer Application below.
Complete the online NFHS "Concussion in Sports" course. You will receive more information on how to complete this via email after you submit this application. Alternatively, you can click here to learn more.
Submit a request for a background check here. PYS will cover the cost of the background check.

Upcoming Coaching Clinics

We also want to make sure there is at least one volunteer on each team that is certified in First Aid/CPR/AED. We will ask if you hold any of these certifications in the volunteer application. We will work to get certain volunteers certified if we do not have enough volunteers already certified.

NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE APPROVED AS A VOLUNTEER UNTIL ALL REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN SATISFIED. WE RECOMMEND COMPLETING ALL REQUIREMENTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO PREVENT ANY FUTURE DELAYS OR PROBLEMS.

We also highly recommend that our volunteers attend the Optional Preseason Practices to help run the stations and offer assistance to the players in attendance. Your time would be greatly appreciated. If we do not have enough volunteers at the Optional Preseason Practices, they may have to be canceled. Learn more and sign up to volunteer here.
